The Gallery images

Care was taken to photograph the prints under as neutral light as possible, to ensure an accurate representation of the original. Please be reminded that different ambient light and colours can subtly change the perceived colours of the print. It is also worth noting that each print is produced by hand and is thus subject to variations in ink application.

All artwork images and logos on this web site are the creations of Jenny Sanders and Copyright. Please respect the artist and do not use, sell or reproduce these images in any shape or form.

Payment Processing

Venice Etchings uses PayPal to securely process payments. This means that all shopping cart and customer details pages are hosted by PayPal, using https, and no personal data is retained by Venice Etchings. View the PayPal security pages to learn more. Please note: Purchases on this web site require you to have or create a PayPal account during the transaction.

Delivery

Currently, we do not deliver outside the UK - this will change in the future. Normally delivery takes approximately two weeks; prints will arrive in a protective tube and padding. However, batches are printed according to demand until the edition of 50 is complete. Therefore, if a new batch needs to be made to satisfy your order, delivery will take approximately four weeks. You will be informed of this delay via email.

Returns

  • If your purchase is damaged in transit:
    • Contact us to request collection.
    • Protect the item using original packaging.
    • Venice Etchings will arrange and pay for collection.
    • On receipt of the item, you will be fully refunded.
  • If you are dissatisfied with your purchase:
    • Contact us to notify of the return.
    • Protect the item using original packaging.
    • Return the item to the contact address within two weeks (returns are sent at your own expense).
    • On receipt of the item (in resellable condition), you will be fully refunded minus the original delivery charge.

Technology

This web site was designed within Microsoft Windows XP and tested using Microsoft Internet Explorer versions 6 (SP1) and 7, Mozilla Firefox 2.0, Opera 9.23, and Apple Safari 3.0.3. My apologies to Macintosh users if there are any rendering problems, but I will endeavor to test within the Mac environment in the future.

The underlying code of the web site has been certified by the World Wide Web Consortium to be valid CSS 2.1 and as Level A of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 1.0. Attempting to validate as XHTML 1.1, however, revealed that PayPal uses non-valid code. So, except for those errors, this page is almost valid XHTML 1.1 :-)

The Contact us page employs Microformats, "a set of simple, open data formats built upon existing and widely adopted standards". This allows adresses to be exported to other applications, including Microsoft Outlook and Googlemail.
